WINS Learning Centers > Sukawati

Yayasan Gunari Kurama

Currently the WINS foundation is setting up a new collaboration with Made Gunarta to set up a WINS Learning Center Yayasan Gunari Kumara.

Mr. Gunarta got inspired by working closely together with the other WINS Learning Centers. He took the initiative to teach and support the unprivileged children in his  village to get education.Without any support and help, Made Gunarta started computer classes in the weekends in the community building.

The Team

In September 2018 Made Gunarta started the classes in the Learning Center, joining the WINS Educational Program.

He and his family, are very pleased to welcome you in the Learning Center.

The Learning Center

The Learning Center has one eco-friendly outside classroom, a lot of laptops,  an office and a lot of space outside to do all kinds of activities with the children.

Whilst we are raising funds for building two eco-friendly classrooms, the children are already attending lessons in the  almost ready outside classroom or on the veranda of the guest rooms.

Now, 40 young  children are  joining the program, during the week from 14:30 until 16:30.

Accomodation

The Learning Center offers accommodation for volunteers.
The 2 simple guest rooms, both with bathroom, are near the friendly family compound, only a few steps away from the Learning Center.

The family serves you simpel, but very tasty meals.

Look on the fees page for more information.
